About Me

Retired since 2005, I was an executive with a global manufacturer of aluminum engineered products. I have traveled the world extensively but I am now pleasantly situated on a quiet dirt road, 8000′ in the Colorado Rockies, happily living in reasonable solitude within the silence of the mountains. My wife, children and grandchildren, and an agreeable social life—not too much—along with my reading, guitar playing, athletic endeavors, and writing activities, keep me healthy and of sound mind…so I am led to believe.

  1. Hello Mr. Ament, I read your review of Eric Hoffer with great interest as I am convinced of many of his points of view. However I am looking for professional reviewers to use as references and wondered if you are among that crowd?
